Welcome to the Brian Newton Big Band Website

The Brian Newton Big Band has been part of the Birmingham Big Band scene

for over 47 years and is still going strong.

The band plays all sorts of music, mostly Jazz orientated from Brian’s extensive collection which is heavily influenced by Stan Kenton and his music.

Some of the Kenton arrangements in library were given to Brian by Stan himself many years ago
